July 2010 - USA (Saugatuck)

We spent July 1st through the 27th in Michigan. It was very relaxing and fun! Here are a few Pics.

Sin and Dylan with the Kalamazoo River in the background. Saugatuck is located where the this river empties into Lake Michigan.

Dylan loves to be in the water. Here he is on his pool outside as well as his baby bath inside.

I love my cousin Erika. This is the first time we met, and she played with me the entire time.

This was Dylan's first time at Lake Michigan. At the beginning, he was a bit nervous about the waves and all the noise, but after a while he loved it and couldn't stop smiling. He will definitely be a beach bum in the future!

A late day at the beach.

Lake Michigan is big. You cannot see across it and it has waves and tides as big as the ocean. (Not in this picture though. It was a nice calm day.)
Fact: Lake Michigan has a surface area of 22,400 miles. Germany has a surface area of 137,847 miles. This means that Lake Michigan is about 1/6 the size of Germany. It is big!
